Mr. Tisch is a senior consultant for GIC export promotion services. He has 35 years of experience in the Horticultural & Tropical Products Division of the Foreign Agricultural Service/USDA, working with the U.S.
horticultural product industry (fruit, vegetable, wine, tree nut, and nursery products) in the areas of market development, strategic planning, evaluation, and supply demand analysis.
As Deputy
Director of Marketing with FAS, he oversaw the development of the Strategic Plan, Unified Export Strategy, and the evaluation of horticultural product industry market development proposals. He was instrumental in
helping create the California Agricultural Export Council, an organization that helped small agricultural companies identify and develop overseas markets for their products and obtain MAP funds for export
promotion. As a marketing specialist he identified foreign markets for U.S. horticultural product exports. As a commodity analyst he evaluated competitive developments in the world horticultural product market. He
