In
conjunction with GIC's "WTO/FTAA On-Line"
service, WTO briefing materials will be available for subscribers from
November 19, a week before the start of the Seattle summit. GIC does
not expect any immediate agreements to come out of the Seattle meeting.
We do forsee, however, that after the fanfare, a series of benchmark agreements
for agriculture will be negotiated. Thus, these materials will focus
on the major agricultural trade issues that will be addressed during the
next round of WTO negotiations.
WTO/FTAA On-Line is tailored to corporate
planning and operational requirements. As such, our service is not
a news reporting service, but rather an in-depth information and analysis
transfer that will keep your company or association abreast of international
negotiations and their impact on your commercial operations. For
more information about this service and an order form, please refer to
the dedicated page.
