China Feed Mill Study Awarded to The GIC Group(July 19, 2005) ALEXANDRIA, VI RGINIA The United States Grains Council has selected The GIC Group to conduct an evaluation of the relative effectiveness of its Feed Mill Managerial and Technology Training Program in China. GIC will also assess the impact USGC export promotion activities have had on China’s import of US feed grains and Chinese feed sector practices over the past five years. The last portion of GIC’s report will focus on future opportunities for the expansion of US feed grain exports to China. GIC will be conducting field interviews with feed mill operators, government officials, and industry leaders in select provinces of China. GIC has established evaluation criteria to measure success of the program based on sales, creation of business leads, image building, and increasing market share over a sustained period of time.
